Advocates for Dignity (AFD)
Advocates for Dignity (AFD) is a non-profit advocacy organization based in Sydney, Australia. Founded by Turkish-speaking Australian citizens, AFD is dedicated to defending the rule of law, democracy, and fundamental human rights, with a particular focus on Turkey and its citizens around the world.
What We Stand For
At AFD, we stand for justice, democracy, and human dignity. In light of Turkey’s alarming decline in democratic governance and human rights, AFD seeks to shed light on the unlawful suppression of citizens, the silencing of media, and the persecution of individuals who dare to speak the truth.
Our Founders
AFD was founded by a group of professionals from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for justice and human dignity. These individuals bring expertise, resources, and a global network to address the challenges of tracking events and accessing accurate information about Turkey.
